At IndiaNIC, we have always believed in creating a balance between work and play. If you’ve been following our blog, you must be aware of our keen interest in cricket. We have been winning the corporate cricket tournament since last three years. While cricket is one of the most important games for IndiaNIC, our interest is not limited to just one game. Our new premises have a special space for board games and Table Tennis.

Table Tennis aficionados had been making full use of this opportunity. Many had honed their skills over the last few weeks, and they were itching for a competition.

On the day of the tournament, 17 participants entered the games arena with a hopeful gleam in their eyes: everyone wanted to win. The weeks of practice had paid off for most of the players, and we had quite a few close matches.

Sandeep Mundra, Mayur Vaghela, Chirag Bhavsar and Bakul Kaushik made it to the semi-finals. While the games leading to the finals were exciting enough, the semi-finals were even more thrilling.

The semi-final between Mayur Vaghela and Chirag Bhavsar was quite a heart-stopper, but in the end Mayur Vaghela prevailed, winning the first two games in the best of three.

The semi-final between Sandeep Mundra and Bakul Kaushik was even more of a cliffhanger. Bakul Kaushik won two close games and edged into finals. Sandeep Mundra and Chirag Bhavsar played three games for the third position. These three games had all the spectators on the edge of their seats. Finally, Sandeep Mundra won the match by 2-1.

The finals games (best of three) were the pick of the bunch. The battle-hardened players knew that victory was not far. Bakul Kaushik and Mayur Vaghela had saved their best for the last. The final games were the best of the lot, and there was hardly any sound in the room while the finalists fought for the prize. Mayur Vaghela proved to be the more skillful of the two, and he won the finals by 2-0, becoming IndiaNIC’s first Table Tennis Champion.

Hello there! All of us have moved to the new premises. And we’re lovin’ it! The new infrastructure is in its place, we are all on one floor (finally!), and most of have settled down to the new rhythm of the new office. Sharing the same floor space with all the different department is a great feeling, the work efficiency has skyrocketed, and its also fun to see new faces every day!

There is something special about the physical personality of our office at Dev Arc mall. The walls, pillars and the general infrastructure of the office follow a theme similar to IndiaNIC’s new brand and corporate identity. The images and slogans on the pillar exude a solid brand image and attitude. To complete the breathtaking effect, we are taking things a bit further − we have designed unique IndiaNIC desktop wallpapers. These desktop wallpapers light up the 450+ monitors throughout our premises, creating a stunning visual impact.

Hello again…

5th March 2012, IndiaNIC’s new journey has begun today. It was a amazing feeling which can not be described in words, after lot of hard work from people behind the scene (IT and Admin), great enthusiasm & support from each and every member of IndiaNIC family, the long wait has been ended.

The new workplace of IndiaNIC get into action today to serve it’s clients and partners at the fullest. The new workplace is large, comfortable, refreshing and cool. The workplace has been crafted taking care of each individuals requirements and customized for specific needs. It’s having sports room, gaming zone, larger canteen area, lot of discussion rooms, nice reception, individual space for group heads, on floor projection, well equipped server room and last but not least the work space for family head [CEO] Mr. Sandeep Mundra.

In continuation of IndiaNIC workplace shifting…

Finally the day arrived and each IndiaNIC member has prepared themselves for new journey. It was a wonderful feeling to have first step at new workplace of IndiaNIC. Today we all have gathered to install and arrange the individual workplace.

Everything went along with the plan, it’s just took two and half hours to complete, it could not possible without team work. We have decided today (Sunday) for getting prepared, so our clients and partners work does not get affected for single minute. Again that’s what define a culture at IndiaNIC.

It was a remarkable journey, with IndiaNIC old office, but with every time you say bye, it’s also means the new beginning. And it’s time to say bye and start it over again with new energy, enthusiasm and with teamwork to reach another milestone. And that’s what define a culture at IndiaNIC.

IndiaNIC appears at much awaited GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012 held at Fira de Barcelona, Spain.

The event has – as expected, launched a flurry of new smart (super) phones, that are making the thin line between the desktop computing and mobile phones even more hard to distinguish.

With nearly a dozen of new mobile devices launched on the very first day of the event, the MWC 2012 has kept its reputation of meeting with expected launches.

The newly launched devices include Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Beam, Nokia Asha Seriese, Nokia Lumia Series Windows Phone 7, LG Optimus 4X HD, Huawei Phone, Sony Experia X, HTC One X to name a few.

The MWC is THE biggest gathering of all the gentle giants of Mobile Industry, Apps Developers, Cellular Network Providers, Application Platforms and many more. The much awaited event has started off with a series of forums and seminars covering up latest trends and on going questions to foster the mobile industry.

The visitors include the people across the globe from China, Korea, USA, South Africa, Europe and just about from every corner of the world.

The enthusiasm and the interest in mobile industry could be seen quite clearly by the congestion at all the entrances at Fira de Barcelona. MWC 2012 is expected to have more than 100,000 visitors during its 4 day schedule. The Mobile World Congress event comprises of 8 halls in total – including variety of stands covering up different business domains – including Apps Planet, which is a highlight of the application developers and the showcase of great mobile application development platforms and services.

IndiaNIC is participating as Exhibition Visitor – with Mihir Rawal (VP, Business Development and Sales) and Jigar Panchal (Tech Manager).

The Mobile World Congress has launched their official TV Channel that is broadcasting latest happenings, views and thoughts of the industry leaders on latest trends and solutions to improve the scalability of mobile industry – round the clock. The Mobile World TV channel is available in local channel network within entire Barcelona.
