What skills I need to have if I want to have my app developed?

Do I need a server for my app?

It depends – if your app requires to host or fetch data from remote location or an existing database, you need a server. If your app relies on the data of 3rd parties servers, you don’t need to host server. However, our technical team will take a final call weather you need a server and kind of it, depending on the project architecture. For the app itself, you don’t need the server to host the app if you plan to promote your app through app store.

What is the average time it takes to develop an app?

It depends on the level of detail and kind of technologies involved in the project. Developing an app requires a lot of care and analysis. Our team works with you continuously to refine the ideas and work out the details before the development starts. Once entire analysis is completed, the time frame to develop the app will be communicated to you.

We provide 2 month free support – to fix any bugs or errors you encounter once the project is officially closed. We also provide paid support at an hourly rate in case you need further assistance beyond this period.

Who is responsible for testing of the app – and ensure it is bug free?

At IndiaNIC – we test the app at different stages. We execute careful manual testing by our in house testing team – that ensures the app runs smoothly and achieves all the targeted features.

How will I get regular updates for the on going work on my app?

I don’t want to put my app for public to see and download. How do I allow only few people to download my app?

If you do not want your iPhone/iPad app be downloaded by all users, you can go for Apple’s Enterprise Developer program – where you are able to send the app to up to 500 users without having your app be submitted to app store – where any other users are able to see your app. With Enterprise developer program you host the app on your server and the targeted users install the app by using the link to server (where you host the app) to install the app to their device.

Can I have my app built for all mobile platforms? (e.g. Android and Windows)

Yes, you can have your app built for Android and Windows as well. You can consult us for the better ways to achieve this from beginning if you’re starting with your app project. If you already have an iPhone or iPad app – you can also have the similar app developed for Windows and Android devices as well.
