Yahoo! Web Analytics – One more feather in the Crown!

Formerly known as IndexTools, Yahoo! has recently bought the company and has repainted it with a new brand called Yahoo! Web Analytics. It has been improved by miles from what it used to be – to match the custom needs of an Ecommerce website. For now, it is only available for Hosted Ecommerce customers for Yahoo! Small Business. If you’re under Standard, Professional or a Legacy Store – you will automatically have the tracking available to your Store Manager. If you’re still falling under this criteria and do not see a way to enable the analytics, you should wait – as this is being rolled out in phases and you’ll get your turn very shortly! IndiaNIC can provide you with the in depth assistance in setting it up and training on how to get the best out of the Analytics power. The immediate areas that you’ll see through the customized dashboards provided by this tool is -

  1. How visitors arrive at your site, and where they drop off.
  2. Problem areas in your checkout flow that result in cart abandonment.
  3. Your most profitable navigation paths, best call-to-action placement, and much more!

Knowing what works and what doesn’t will help you make changes that can improve sales and site performance. Manage your page tracking

  1. Track all store pages automatically for hosted pages in store
  2. Track shopping cart visits and abandonment
  3. Ability to create and mention the code on pages residing on Yahoo! Web Hosting
  4. Exclude selective pages from being tracked! NEW
