Project Objectives

This on-demand service app connects customers with a diverse range of household service providers, offering transparent quotations, user-friendly navigation, secure transactions, and detailed provider profiles to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Service Quotation: Customers will be able to delineate the specific services required—such as cleaning, laundry, or gardening—and receive customized quotations tailored to their individual needs, thereby ensuring transparency and clarity from the outset.

  • Diverse Service Offerings: The application will support an extensive range of services, including but not limited to residential cleaning, meal preparation, pet care, and administrative tasks, thereby addressing the varied needs of the customer base.

  • Facilitating Connections: A user-friendly interface will be developed to enable customers to efficiently discover and connect with available service providers based on their specific requirements and preference.

  • Secure Transactions: Ensure safe and secure payment methods for users and drivers.

  • Service Provider Profiles: Detailed profiles for service providers will be established, showcasing their qualifications, areas of expertise, and customer ratings, thereby empowering users to make informed decisions when selecting services.

Problem Statement & Challenges

We created a project roadmap through inspecting existing code and analyzing what needs to be fixed on priority, by effectively addressing user experience and functionality challenges in our on-demand household services platform.

  • Fixing existing bugs and issues: Navigating and modifying existing code for bugs and issues that prevent customer from using the app and booking maids

  • Feedback Loop Mechanism: Establishing an effective system for gathering and implementing customer feedback is essential for continuous improvement, but balancing this with the technical feasibility of changes can be challenging.

  • Integration with New Features: Ensuring new features integrate smoothly with existing functionalities without introducing bugs.

  • User Experience (UX) Enhancements: Improving the user interface, adding new designs, and experience based on client feedback while maintaining existing user familiarity.

Undertook a comprehensive series of code debugging to elucidate customer bugs/issues and delineate critical feature requirements.

Analyzed user feedback and prioritized features based on impact and feasibility for iterative development.

Task Ticket Prioritization

Instituted a systematic approach to task ticket prioritization based on severity and urgency, while maintaining a centralized communication framework to ensure all stakeholders are continuously informed and aligned throughout the project task lifecycle
