Rx Assist
- CATEGORYConsumer health companion app
- PLATFORMiOS & Android, offline-first
- AIBring-your-own LLM, consent-based
- BEST FORPatients & caregivers
A private, offline-first health companion for patients and caregivers. Prescriptions, medicines, doctors, reports, vitals, and daily logs in one simple app — designed so elderly and non-technical users can keep up with their health between doctor visits. All data stays on the device.
The home screen does the remembering.
Open the app and the day is already laid out — a warm greeting, the doses that are due, and a tap to everything that matters. These are recreated, idealized views of the real app UI.
Your health data never leaves your phone.
No account, no cloud account to breach, no quiet telemetry. Rx Assist is built local-first, so the most sensitive data a person owns simply stays with them. It’s the kind of privacy posture our healthcare engineering work is built around.
100% on-device
Every prescription, vital, and health log lives on the phone — never on a server.
No account, no login
Nothing to sign up for. Open the app and start; core features need no internet.
You own your backup
Backup is manual and explicit — one encrypted file to your own iCloud or Google Drive.
No tracking
There’s no automatic cloud sync, no telemetry, and no data sold or shared.
The day’s medicines, already sorted.
A morning, afternoon, and night schedule on the home screen — mark each dose taken or skipped, get reminders that carry the food instruction, and let missed doses surface themselves.
- 01 · DOSE
Morning, afternoon, night
Today’s schedule is grouped by slot on the home screen, so the next dose is always one glance away.
- 02 · DOSE
Taken or skipped, your call
Mark each dose taken, or skip it with a reason and an optional reschedule to a later slot.
- 03 · DOSE
Reminders that explain
Local notifications carry the medicine name, dose, and food instruction — acknowledge or snooze.
- 04 · DOSE
Missed doses, surfaced
Anything missed is flagged, and an adherence score tracks the week — calculated entirely offline.
Walk into every appointment ready.
Plan the visit, arrive with a one-tap summary of medicines, vitals, symptoms and questions, keep enough medicine on hand, and reach the right doctor in a tap.
Plan the visit
Schedule a doctor visit with date, time, and location, plus a pre-visit checklist like “fasting blood sugar.”
Walk in with a summary
One tap compiles current medicines, 30-day vitals, recent symptoms, mood trend, and your notes into a print-ready summary.
Never run out
Stock tracking projects days-of-supply against your next visit and warns you to reorder before you go.
Doctors at hand
Full doctor profiles with tap-to-call and tap-the-address-to-open-Maps, linked to prescriptions and documents.
The numbers that tell the whole story.
Vitals, mood, symptoms, and reports come together as charts and a single timeline — so trends are visible long before the next visit.
Vitals that chart themselves
Log BP, blood sugar, weight, heart rate, SpO₂, and temperature; see 30/90-day line charts with normal-range reference lines.
A daily health log
One entry a day — a mood picker plus multi-select symptoms and a note, shown in a calendar colour-coded by mood.
Understand your reports
Upload lab reports and scans, then get plain-language AI explanations of what the values mean — in your language.
A single timeline
Doses, vitals, logs, visits, and documents flow into one chronological feed, grouped by date and filterable by type.
A health assistant that only knows your data.
Ask plain questions and get plain answers — drawn only from the active patient’s own records, with consent before anything reaches a model. Bring your own provider, or stand one up with our AI/ML engineering and AI agents teams.
- 01 · ASSISTANT
Ask about your own data
Natural-language Q&A over the active patient’s records — “summarize my medications,” “any missed doses this week?”
- 02 · ASSISTANT
Bring your own model
Works with a custom IndiaNIC endpoint, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini — the provider and key are set in settings.
- 03 · ASSISTANT
Speak your question
On-device voice input in every supported language, with no extra API key required.
- 04 · ASSISTANT
Insights that work offline
Adherence scores, low-stock and expiry alerts, vitals-trend warnings, and visit-prep nudges run without any AI call.
- 05 · ASSISTANT
Consent-based by design
Anything that reaches an LLM asks for explicit one-time consent first, is sent only as needed over HTTPS, and is never used for training.
- 06 · ASSISTANT
Answers in your language
The assistant can read and reply in English, Gujarati, or Hindi, matching the language you’ve chosen for the app.
Care for the people you love, from one app.
A single install holds multiple patient profiles — name, date of birth, blood group, photo. Switch profiles from the header and the entire app changes context, so an adult child or spouse can manage a parent’s medicines, vitals, and appointments alongside their own.
Everything in Rx Assist is scoped to the active profile — doses, documents, doctors, the timeline, even the AI assistant. There’s no juggling separate apps or accounts: one phone, one install, and the whole household’s health organized in private. It’s a real differentiator against generic medicine-reminder apps, and it pairs with the rest of the product portfolio when you need more.
One app for the whole picture.
Medicines, doctors, visits, documents, bills, diet, and backup — each its own clear module, all scoped to the patient you’re caring for.
Medicine Manager
Add manually or from a scanned prescription — dose, food timing, schedule, photos, notes, and the prescribing doctor.
Doctor Directory
Specialty, hospital, phones, availability and photo, with tap-to-call and one-tap directions.
Visit Planner
Appointments with checklists, reminders, attached documents, and directions from the visit itself.
Document Store
Photos and PDFs — reports, scans, discharge summaries — categorized, linked, and viewable in app.
Prescription Scanner
On-device OCR reads prescriptions and reports, then you review and confirm the extracted medicines.
Diet Plan
One editable plan per patient: restricted, allowed, preferred, and controlled foods with limits.
Bills
Scan and categorize bills, flag them for insurance, and export everything as one multi-page PDF for claims.
Backup & Restore
A single encrypted file to your own cloud drive, restored by picking the file — no automatic sync.
Health, in the language they think in.
English at launch, with Gujarati and Hindi localizations — and an architecture that adds more languages with no code changes. The chosen language applies across the interface and to the AI assistant’s answers, while on-device OCR reads Latin, Devanagari, and Gujarati scripts.
The questions patients and caregivers ask first.

Where is my health data stored?
On your device. The database is 100% local — there’s no account, no login, and no server copy. Core features work fully offline, and backup is a manual, encrypted file you save to your own iCloud or Google Drive.
Does the AI assistant work offline?
Many intelligence features — adherence scoring, low-stock and expiry alerts, OCR, voice transcription, and drug auto-suggest — run offline on the device. The conversational assistant and report explanations call a configured LLM endpoint over HTTPS, only after you give explicit consent.
Can one person manage several patients?
Yes. A single install holds multiple patient profiles, and switching profiles from the header changes the whole app context — built for caregivers managing parents’ or family members’ health.
Is it easy for an elderly user?
It’s designed for it: large tap targets, clear labels, minimal steps, and common tasks in three taps or fewer. Light, dark, and system themes are all supported.
What languages does it support?
English at launch, with Gujarati and Hindi localizations, and the architecture adds more languages with no code changes. On-device OCR reads Latin, Devanagari, and Gujarati scripts.
Can it be deployed under our own brand?
Yes — like our other products, Rx Assist can be white-labeled and shipped under your brand. Talk to us about the build.
