It is a tool that helps purchasing teams shortlist the strongest vendor proposals out of many, using NLP-based content analysis and graphical comparison against predetermined, weighted evaluation criteria.

What format do proposals need to be in?

Proposals can arrive in varied layouts. They are normalized to a consistent Markdown representation for analysis, so layout differences don’t change how a vendor is judged. Direct PDF and DOCX ingestion is on the maturation roadmap.

Can we set our own criteria and weights?

Yes. Start from the predetermined criteria library, add custom criteria with their own weight and category, and adjust weights at any time. The analyzer can also suggest criteria based on recurring themes across the proposals.

How is the shortlist defensible?

Every score is backed by the extracted source text behind it, scores can be manually overridden with an audit trail, and the recommendation is tied to the weighted criteria with a confidence indicator and supporting evidence.
