1099 Portal is a one-stop solution for users (taxpayers) to digitally upload all information required to file their 1099 tax forms and view it when it is filed by EisnerAmper members. EisnerAmper is one of the largest US firms offering audit, accounting, advisory, consulting, and tax services.

Project Brief

The client wanted this digital platform to automate and replace the manual tax filing process. Team IndiaNIC helped to develop and deliver a full-fledged taxation and accounting software.

The objective for the project team was to come up with a stunning, flawless, and user-friendly User Interface (UI), using which taxpayers can easily upload and submit the required documents in a few clicks.

Faced Challenges

Implementation of Change Requests (within timeline) based on evolving market needs.

Once the wireframes got approved, HTML integration with the third-party connection work was needed to be done. The team also needed to manage the login session of a third-party website for user identification purposes.

Many changes were suggested by the client’s QA team during the testing as a result of changing nature of market needs. To make those changes with a stringent timeline was commendable.

According to the initial discussions with the client, the project team provided a range of different possible solutions to redesign the existing application. To match up the client requirements, we have provided various design wireframes along with Database structure for their understanding. The teams started development after approval with efficient communication and reporting.
