Experiencing life under the ocean is a passion or a dream for the majority of humans. To help such diving enthusiasts, our client approached us with an idea of developing a platform that could help them to search a perfect scuba diving center by saving time. Also, the idea is to help diving centers by listing them on this web platform to get more bookings online.
Objectives
The requirement of our client was to re-design and develop an appealing and easy-to-use marketplace platform, right from the scratch. The core requirement of the project was to redevelop the existing marketplace using Laravel. The hard part was to build a new system from scratch with a new technology framework without any documentation about the existing system.
Our Strategy
Effective teamwork and internal collaboration of our WordPress and Laravel developers was the key. With the lack of documentation for the existing system built in WordPress, our WordPress dev team performed comprehensive system analysis. They collaborated with the Laravel developers for knowledge transfer and came up with a strategy to migrate all the existing data from WordPress to Laravel. For the other challenge, we managed the data communication between WordPress blogging and the newly built system through custom API integration services.

We redesigned, developed, helped the client with data migration with ZERO downtime, well within the given project deadline. For a couple of weeks, our team was in active touch with the client to make sure everything was working perfectly for all the users, Admin, Vendors (Diving Centers), and end users (Scuba Divers). Client was extremely satisfied with our smooth and responsive communication and gave us the best ratings for the quality we delivered.
