Seamless Merchandise is an Australian company dealing in promotional products and corporate catalogue programs. They have a wide range of customizable product options available at the click of a button. The client is working with us since the platform went digital in 2010, came back to IndiaNIC with a futuristic plan for his business. His initial instinct and goal was to get an increased number of inquiries on his website to grow the business even more.


Evidently the website was designed and developed a long time ago and lacked in terms of functionality, design and user experience. The challenge was to address the extensiveness of the platform which had an array of promotional products and corporate categories and showcase them in a modern and appealing way. The older website which is clearly outdated, needed to be scraped off and replaced with a newly designed and highly intuitive version. The clients strategy was to market Seamless Merchandise in a whole new light in the world of digital marketing.

Our Strategy

Our team of expert UI/UX designers and business analysts took the challenge head on and outlined the problems with the existing platform. First our BA team figured out the new features and functionality that needed to be updated. After heavy brainstorming sessions with the client we laid out the changes that were inevitable in terms of new inquiry generation and marketing. Next we moved on to enhancing the theme, look and feel of the website. The older version was so old that a whole new design outlook was needed when choosing the website layout and themes. To make it aesthetically pleasing we went with a mix of minimal yet bold colour schemes of black, purple and white throughout the website. We changed the typography for it to become more readable and eye catchy.

Content architecture and visual design were closely synced together by increasing the screen size so that the user can absorb more information with less scrolls. We also created a mobile responsive platform to keep the users engaged.To create brand awareness and elevate product branding, illustrations and visual content was used at as many places as possible. We even added more landing pages for SEO purpose. Call to action buttons were introduced to incite users to make an enquiry.

Everybody knows videos are a great way to showcase your services and how impactful it could be. We used this fact to the advantage to along with the beautifully designed UI across the platform.

To deal with wide array of customer database, we used Vtiger CRM (in line with client’s vision), a popular platform for ensuring marketing ROI along with Zend Framework as a third party framework – to reduce the time to market and capitalize the features of one of the most popular CRM from years.

Overall the client was extremely satisfied with the new and improved website and also hoped to bring many other advancements and increase the scope of the business altogether. The project is slated to be widening its wings with more merchants coming on board – specially with the successful implementation of the current phase.
